Aus dem Koffer dringt Musik: 7 mährische Volkslieder, vertont von Leoš Janáček, auf Tschechisch gesungen. Ich höre zu, summe und singe mit und schreibe dazu 7 Liebesbriefe. Verschließe diese in Umschlägen und lege sie in den Koffer.
The sound of 7 Moravian folk-songs comes out of the suitcase. I listen to the Czech mezzosoprano-voice that sings the songs arranged by the Czech composer Leoš Janáček. While listening I sing and hum along and write a loveletter to each song. Each letter I put in an envelope, seal it and give it to the suitcase.

Performance-Gäste und Besucher der Ausstellung schreiben Briefe und geben sie dem "Liebesbriefkasten".
Guests of the performance and visitors of the exhibition write letters and give them to the "love-letterbox".

Der Koffer bleibt als Installation mit Sound Kern der Ausstellung. Aus dem Inneren hört man mein Singen und Summen der mährischen Volksweisen zu Zugrattern (spontan aufgenommen im Zug zum Performance-Festival nach Poznań, 2004).
The suitcase as a sound-installation is the heart of the exhibition. Out of the suitcase comes my voice, singing and humming the Moravian folk melodies to the rumbling sound of a a train (it is a spontaneous recording I did on the train-ride from Warszawa to the festival in Poznań 2004).

An den Wänden: Die Texte der 7 mährischen Volkslieder stehen handschriftlich auf Postkarten.

Sie korrespondieren mit ebenfalls auf Postkarten gedruckten Bildern der Polen-Reise 2004.

Jedes Lied wird zu einer Reise-Impression.

On the walls: The lyrics of the 7 Moravian folk-songs are handwritten on postcards. They correspond with pictures of the journey to Poland in 2004. The pictures are printed on postcards as well. So every song becomes a travel-impression.
